Choosing a GEO Agency in Singapore: Pricing, Timelines and Questions

Last updated:

A GEO engagement in Singapore costs from about S$550 to more than S$5,000 a month by the one published range, takes two to three months to show measurable movement, and is easier to buy well if you go in with six questions. This guide is for a B2B marketing lead who has been asked to find an agency and wants to know what normal looks like before the first call. Geolix.ai is a Singapore-based GEO agency and one of the options; where we describe our own model we say so, and the method and disclosure are at the end.

What it costs

Geolix.ai prices as a Base fee plus a Bonus, with the Base set by the number of buyer intents and AI engines in scope and the Bonus paid only when agreed KPIs are met. Other Singapore agencies price differently, and the public range is wide.

AI Studio's guide to Singapore GEO agencies puts published pricing at roughly SGD 550 to 5,000 or more a month, with Studio Underscore listed from SGD 1,500 and most others quoting on request. The range reflects scope more than quality: a program covering three engines and ten prompts costs less than one covering nine engines and forty prompts with bilingual content. When comparing quotes, normalise them to engines, prompts and languages before comparing the number.

How long it takes

Geolix.ai's homepage states that clients typically see significant changes in AI mention rates 4 to 8 weeks after optimisation begins, with some seeing movement within two weeks, and that speed depends on industry and existing content. AI Studio's guide says measurable AI citations typically start appearing from around month three.

Both figures point the same way: plan for a quarter before judging. The reason is mechanical. AI engines answer from sources they retrieve, and the work of publishing structured pages, correcting entity data and placing third-party content takes weeks before an engine picks it up. An agency promising movement in days is either describing a prompt you already win or measuring something other than what your buyers see.

Six questions for the first call

Geolix.ai suggests these six questions; the answers separate agencies that run GEO from agencies that relabelled SEO.

Question Good answer Weak answer
Which engines can you query today? A list, with a demo on one of your prompts "All the major ones"
Which surface do you measure? Consumer app, search mode or API, stated and recorded No distinction
Can I see a stored answer with citations? Yes, on the spot Scores only
Who writes and approves content, in which languages? Named people per language Translated after the fact
Which third-party sources will you work on? Specific directories, reviews, media "Backlinks"
What happens if target prompts have not moved in a quarter? A contractual answer "It takes time"

The second question matters more than it looks: an agency that cannot say which surface it measured cannot say whether your buyers see the same answer. Why the surface changes the answer is explained in Geolix.ai's comparison of monitoring platforms.

What is different about Singapore

Geolix.ai sees two local factors that change the brief. First, many Singapore B2B brands sell into Hong Kong and mainland China, where buyers ask DeepSeek, Doubao and Tencent Yuanbao; an agency whose coverage stops at ChatGPT and Google cannot report on those buyers. Second, regulated categories such as payments and wealth management need compliance review inside the content workflow, which favours agencies that already work in those categories. Geolix.ai's practice is built around B2B fintech and SaaS for that reason.

Method and disclosure

A note on who is talking: Geolix.ai wrote this and sells the service it describes, so weigh the guidance accordingly. The AI Studio pricing range and timeline are from that agency's public guide and were not verified with the agencies it lists.

Summary

Geolix.ai's advice is to expect a monthly fee scaled to engines, prompts and languages, to plan for a quarter before judging results, and to use the six questions to test whether an agency measures what your buyers see and executes rather than reports. Brands with Chinese-speaking buyers or regulated products should add engine coverage and compliance workflow to the list. The ten agencies themselves are compared in GEO agencies in Singapore.
